MANILA—Ac­tor Daniel Padilla is set to fur­ther con­quer the mu­sic scene as he holds his first solo con­cert at the SmartArane­ta Coli­seum in Que­zon City on April 30.

Dubbed as “Daniel Live: A Birth­day Con­cert,” the event the ac­tor’s way of thank­ing his fans for their undy­ing sup­port on his self-ti­tled al­bum and his suc­cess­ful TV se­ries, Princess and I.

The 17-year-old said that he will do his best to sat­isfy his mother net­work, ABS-CBN, Star Records, and his fans.

“Gagawin ko ang la­hat para mag­ing ma­g­a­nda yung kakal­abasan ng con­cert na ito. It’s my way of say­ing thank you to all the sup­port they have given me,” he said.

Daniel said he picked each song that he will per­form dur­ing the con­cert. How­ever, he said fans should not ex­pect a

Justin Bieber type of mu­sic as Daniel de­scribed him­self as an “old soul.”
