Youngest in the House

Rep. Eddie Gullas’s office has sent out a press release noting that his grandson Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas Jr. has emerged as the youngest member of the 16th Congress.

Kalinga party-list Rep. Abigail Faye Ferriol was the youngest member of the 15th Congress.

Gullas Jr,, 28, is 70 days younger than Ferriol.

“Samsam” ran unopposed and will fill the seat occupied by his grandfather for a cumulative 21 years, the p.r. said. He’s 5’8” and a basketball player and aficionado like his grandfather.
