Lea Salonga leads Insular Life’s 2015 Positivism Campaign

Multi-awarded international stage and TV personality, Lea Salonga once again leads Insular Life's Advertising Campaign for 2015, dubbed Magandang Araw Sticky Notes campaign. Salonga continues to share Insular Life's advocacy of creating positive vibes through various communication platforms.

In 2014, Salonga became Insular Life's brand ambassador for its campaign, Magandang Araw Ngayon, Magandang Buhay Bukas. She appeared in print ads, TV commercials, and billboards, espousing to create a beautiful day today and in the future by being financially prepared, and her confidence is in Insular Life as it has the track record of having helped families enjoy beautiful and secure lives in its more than 100 years of service.

The 2015 Advertising campaign progresses from a declaration of a Magandang Araw Ngayon, Magandang Buhay Bukas into a tangible expression of reaching out to give another person a good day.

For the 2015 campaign, Salonga will be seen again primarily on TV, passing on positive encouraging and actionable thoughts written on sticky notes, to people she meets inside her neighborhood. Her day starts with a cute note from her daughter, “Magandang Araw para magpasaya.” She then decides to do the same, pass sticky notes prefaced with “Magandang Araw para…. “to ordinary people she meets as she walks around her neighborhood. The TVC ends with Salonga saying “paghandaan ang bukas para maganda ang arawaraw.”

“The TV commercial where I pass on sticky notes, is actually meant to encourage everyone to do the same to people they know, or even to people they don't know. Just pass on a thoughtful note, a note of encouragement, anything that will give a smile or a warm feeling to another. We can never underestimate the power of a kind word.” Salonga explains.

She will be seen also on billboards continuing to espouse to plan for one's financial needs, and will be heard over radio singing the very inspiring song “Isang Magandang Araw”. The song, originally composed and arranged for her, by Mike Villegas, and lyrics by Rayna Reyes, will be aired in AM and FM stations every morning during the campaign period. She will also be posting positive notes in her social media accounts.

Salonga continues to believe in the Magandang Araw campaign of Insular Life. “I like that Insular Life shows the value of life insurance positively. I like that it is all about being positive. Personally, I also try to do something positive in everything I do. It's anything, any little thing that makes another person smile and give them a beautiful day.
