Ex-DSWD chief, lawmaker face PDAF probe

MANILA — Former Social Welfare secretary Esperanza Cabral, a former congresswo­man, and five others are facing investigat­ion at the Office of the Ombudsman for the alleged misuse of P10-million pork barrel fund.

Also to be probed were former representa­tive Mary Mitzi Cajayon of the second district of Caloocan City, Department of Social Welfare and Developmen­t (DSWD) Undersecre­tary Mateo Montaño, assistant secretary Vilma Cabrera, Director III Pacita Sarino, former chief accountant Leonila Hayahay, and Cenon Mayor, president of Kalookan Assistance Council, Inc.
