PNoy’s net worth up by P1.8M in 2014

-

PRESIDENT Benigno C. Aquino III’s inherited residential lot in Antipolo City, his salary and interest of his money in the banks have pushed his net worth to P68,311,644 in 2014.

According to his Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net (SALN) Worth, which he submitted to the Office of the Ombudsman last month, this amount was P1.8 million higher than his P66,494,183 net worth in 2013.

Except for the P507,393 residential lot in Antipolo, Aquino’s real properties with a total amount of P32,669,827 were apparently the same as those listed in the previous year.

These were two residential lots and a house in Tarlac City and Quezon City, respectively, commercial lots in San Juan City, and two agricultural lots in Tarlac Province, including one in Capas.

Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said that the President was only able to include his inheritance in Antipolo after a court proceeding that ended last year.

Under personal properties, Aquino’s cash on hand and in banks rose to P30,088,988 in 2014 from P28,778,920 in 2013.

Valte said the increase was attributable to the President’s salary and interest income in the banks.

Other items listed under personal properties have remained the same: P3-million worth of vehicles, P552,829 receivables, and P2-million worth of other assets.

Aquino has no liability and listed Sen. Paolo Benigno Aquino IV as his relative in government service.
