PINK GIRLS
In the social calendar of the media worker, October is always colored pink. Thanks to the infectious passion of breast cancer survivors and supporters, this month’s good cause is another reason to go to the malls and participate in the charity activities. Among which is Think Pink Ayala. In line with this month’s awareness drive, Ayala has laid down a list of fitness activities which you can join. For a minimum charge of P50, you can indulge in a healthy activity and at the same time, the same amount covers a donation for the cause. Doesn’t that just make you feel good twice over?
Pink Flats
With the visibility of the pink campaign, Havaianas also presents its array of pink flipflops, naturally. The Havaianas Flat features a feminine silhouette, shorter straps, thinner footbed and sports a sleek silhouette that’s fresh and on trend. With a variety of vibrant patterns to match your mood, each is accentuated by the signature textured footbed and grooved straps. Havaianas Slim Tropical, on the other hand, features prints inspired by the phoenix and lotus flower on our signature textured footbed for style and comfort. An iridescent or matte strap with a tonal Havaianas logo completes the vibrant look. Finally, we have the Havaianas Slim Cool which is inspired by young fashion trends and features impulse art including nail polish and origami accents printed on our signature textured footbed. A sleek metallic strap with a tonal Havaianas logo finishes this look.
K Style
The Korean influence has only surged in the recent years. The steady stream of Korean students sent over to learn English has brought, in exchange, their businesses, brands, television and music imports. In Cebu City, we have gone through the formalities of naming October as a month of celebrating our stronger ties with the Koreans. We can thank them for bringing in cultural diversity to our island. And very much like their colorful way of life, it comes as no surprise that their exhibit should be Insta(gram)-worthy. Wondering from where people have been grammin’ this lantern-lit spot? Well, the secret’s out: It is the Korean culture exhibit which is ongoing in Ayala Center Cebu until October 8.
