International executives headline Waterfront Cebu
The Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino marketing team, spearheaded by marketing communications manager Arnel Aparis, introduced its hotel executives from three countries to the media.
The hotel's general manager Grant Raymond Jefferies is from Australia and is taking on his first assignment in the Philippines. With a master's degree in business administration from Columbia Business School in New York City, 27 years of extensive experience working with other hotels, resorts, cruise liners and casinos all over the globe, complemented with his hands-on management style, Jefferies snugly fits into the role.
Another addition to the team is director of food and beverage Michele Cantini, an Italian national. He's had training experience from various hotels and restaurants in Italy and China where he first worked as restaurant manager and wine connoisseur in Va Bene, Shanghai. He later joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Shenzen, China as a restaurant operations manager. His familiarity with the ins and outs of food and beverage operations makes it easier for him to meet the demands of his current position.
Lastly, armed with two decades of culinary experience is the hotel's new corporate executive chef Mark Mulder, a Dutch national. His exposure to different cuisines from having worked in cruise liners, international hotel chains and free-standing restaurants in Europe, USA and Asia prove to be among his strong points.
With its newest culinary and executive team, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino is determined to stay on top of its game in the industry.
