Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris end their song
Music fans are mourning the death of the relationship of music royalty— Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris.
People magazine is reporting that the pop star, 26, and electronic dance music DJ, 32, have broken up.
“No one cheated,” an insider told the magazine. “There was no drama. Things just don’t work out sometimes...” The couple were together for 15 months. “Taylor is doing okay now but she was upset,” an insider also told Us Weekly magazine, which learned that the couple already had problems before Harris was hospitalized last May 20, following a vehicular accident.
It was widely reported that Swift was there to nurse Harris back to health.
Swift gushed about Harris when she won the award for Best Tour during the iHeart Radio Music Awards last April.
“For the first time, I had the most amazing person to come home to when the spotlight went out and when the crowds were all gone. So I want to thank my boyfriend Adam for that,” Swift said of Harris, whose real name is Adam Richard Wiles.
Just last March, Swift and Harris plastered their public display of affection on social media while they were on a tropical getaway to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Harris then gave Swift a locket engraved with “3-6-2015,” the date of the official start of their relationship.
The couple hit it off at the 2015 Brit Awards in February last year. They were introduced by Ellie Goulding, a member of Swift’s Squad and who collaborated with Harris for the songs Outside and I Need Your Love.
Looks like Swifties can expect great songs from Swift when she releases her sixth studio album. Swift is known for writing songs about her ex-boyfriends including One Direction’s Harry Styles, Joe Jonas, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal.
