Tech support and supplies in Cebu for Dell users will be much faster and easier as Dell partners with Thinking Tools Inc.

Christopher Papa, Dell director and country manager, says the company’s channel transformation initiatives from direct selling to working with small to medium-size enterprises was for them to serve more consumers.

“Dell has always been a direct-selling company. But eventually we realized that we have to work closely with more partners so we can cover more customers,” Papa said.

He added that Dell was looking for a strong partner in Cebu that has been establishing a name in the industry and values customers’ satisfaction.

Wilson G. Tan, president of Thinking Tools Inc., said that being in the industry for 30 years enables them to be competitive in their field.

“We have a strong foothold in the retail side. We have seen the clamor for small-medium size enterprises. There is poor service or delayed service and slow delivery of goods,” he said.

Now that the two companies joined forces, Tan said that it enabled them to serve their clients faster in terms of the supplies and the local technical support.

“It’s easy for us now to serve our clients’ needs because the turnaround becomes shortened. We have our own warehouse. We stock as well as Dell has the stock and we can serve right away. When it comes to support, Dell has local support. Customers don’t need to wait or go to Manila.”

Thinking Tools Inc. stores are located at the following places: SM City Cebu; Ayala Center Cebu; TTI Bldg, Junquera Ext., Cebu City; Tagbilaran, Bohol; Davao and Metro Manila.
