ECCP to hold forum on federalism
THE European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) is spearheading the first Joint Foreign Chambers (JFC) networking night in Cebu on Aug. 12, 6:30 p.m., at the Cebu City Marriott Hotel, with the theme “Federalism: Is the Business Sector Ready?”
The forum will feature Elfren Cruz, head of the Presidential Management Staff during the administration of former president Corazon Aquino, as the guest speaker.
Julian Payne, president of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, will also make a presentation on the topic during the forum.
The JFC is a coalition of the American, Australian-New Zealand, Canadian, European, Japanese, Korean chambers and the Philippine Association of Multinational Companies Regional Headquarters Inc.
A major initiative of the JFC is “Arangkada Philippines,” which aims to increase investment and employment in the country.
Tariff for cocktails/forum participation is P950 for JFC members and P1,250 for non-members.
