Omega Pro's Lee outclasses captains in COC

OMEGA Pro's Tonyson Lee came up with the fastest time in the Clash of the Captains (COC) side event of the Cobra Energy Drink Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championships yesterday at the ShangriLa Mactan Resort and Spa.

Lee beat six other captains with a time of 5:54:38. He had the fastest split time in both the swim and bike events with 39:02 and 2:58:42.

Team Motor Ace-Kawasaki skipper Jonel Borromeo finished second with a total time of 6:03:00 and was the fastest in the run part of the race with a time of 2:18:38.

The other captains who competed in the Ironman 70.3 side event were Volvo Multisport's Brian Borja, Team Ford Forza's Gianluca Guidicelli, TTB Cebu's Richard Ho, Rotary Philippines' Bernard Sia and Team Tri S's Dudin Cuyos.

The proceeds of this side event goes to the charity of Omega Pro's choice.
