Just when the Baby Panthers found their rhythm in the second quarter and was only trailing by two points, 44-42, the Magis Eagles started to make repeated runs that held USPF hapless the rest of the way.

Patrick Yu led SHS-AdC’s wild third period binge with nine points with Michael Cutamora and Jeremy Nacua contributing five points each as the Magis Eagles burst the gate wide open with a 32-16 blast.

From then on, the defending champions were never threatened until the final buzzer.

However, the Baby Panthers failed to sustain the momentum when the Magis Eagles tightened its defense and used its vaunted running game to render the opponents helpless the rest of the way.
