Cafe Marco goes French

-

From today until Sunday, Marco Polo Plaza Cebu invites the public to savor wonderful French flavors at Café Marco as chef Olivier Foucke, executive chef of Marco Polo Xiamen, brings in his expertise in French Cuisine.

Chef Olivier's first introduction to the kitchen was in Dunkerque, France, where he learned the basics of French cuisine. His curiosity and passion for food allowed him to travel the world to discover and taste unique dishes, bringing him to Glasgow, Geneva, Abu Dhabi, Macau and China.

He's bringing more than 20 years of culinary experience to Cebu and will whip up French dishes that will make people go:

C'estdélicieux (delicious). Those who love the cuisine will enjoy “A French Culinary Journey at Café Marco.”

Diners will feast on exciting French dishes such as Lamb Stew, Baked Chicory and Ham, Pate de Campagne, Blanquette de Veau, Veal Stew with Mushroom, Pomme au Four, Assorted Crepes, Creme Brulee and so much more.

How about an intimate French dinner at 1,000 feet high?

Chef Olivier has crafted an indulgent three-course menu with wine pairing at the Blu Bar & Grill. Diners will have a fine evening with excellent French food as Blu Bar & Grill brings “Evenings with Chef Olivier,” ongoing until Sunday.

Marco Polo Plaza is the city's only deluxe hotel nestled on a hilltop.
