Chicken wings—what’s not to love? it doesn’t take a genius to figure out how to eat it too. This is among the many comfort food offerings Cebuanos go nuts for. Sure enough, the city’s got restaurants catering to that craving.

There on the streets of Mabolo stands Bad Boys Wingz, a restaurant that houses its own unique rendition of the Buffalo chicken wings and other must-try flavors. Capturing that American soul food type of cuisine, it is one of the most frequently visited dining spots in the city.

This is owned by longtime friends Andrew Aseniero, Gino Ortiz and David Santos, who began participating in food bazaars until they decided to put up a place in Banilad last year. Presently, its new two-storey location lies on the ground floor of lifestyle strip The Greenery on Pope John Paul II Ave., Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City.

It started out with three flavors during its early stages. Now it houses nine flavored crispy chicken wings ranging from its standard Plain Old Wings, to the intensely hot and spicy Suicide sauce (for the brave ones). Its other flavors include the Garlic Parmesan, Sriracha Honey, Lemon Pepper, Honey Bbq, Teriyaki, Mild Buffalo and Angry Buffalo.

It even offers boneless chicken for diners who want to indulge without the fuss.

More than its variety of flavors of chicken wings, there are a lot of dishes to check out like Spam Fries, Philly Cheese Steak, Deviled Eggs, The Rib (slow roasted for three hours and grilled with its homemade barbecue sauce), Spicy Garlic Shrimp, Linguine Scampi and so much more.

Diners can also look forward to its list of promos in store like the Monday Madness in which customers get freebies once they order its featured dishes every Monday; great deals on Wicked Wings Day every Wednesday; and the Blowout Bucket which is available on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

Bad Boys Wingz is open daily from 11 a.m. until 12 midnight on weekdays, 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. every Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday.
