Radisson Blu turns Pink for awareness

-

In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Radisson Blu has come up with a “Love Blu, Be Pink!” campaign wherein a room in each of its participating hotels will turn pink for the month of October.

Radisson Blu Cebu has transformed one of its Business Class rooms into a pink room. From the welcome treats and decor to the artwork pieces and bath essentials, there are hints of pink in various hues.

Just as pretty as the room is the view of the Mactan harbor at night or during the day. What’s more, the rate is inclusive of a breakfast buffet for two persons and access to the exclusive privileges of the Business Class Lounge. The room can be booked until Oct. 31.

The pink theme is also carried out across the outlets of the hotel. Feria’s dessert station is converted into a pink corner with pink decadent sweets—fondue, macarons, strawberry opera cake, royaltine dome and champagne mousse.

Dilmah t-Bar offers a Pink Signature Afternoon High Tea which features three-tier sweet and savory items including quiche Lorraine, watermelon yogurt mousse and strawberry scones. The Lobby Bar has concocted pink-tinged blends such as the rosehip and hibiscus iced tea, pink mojito and candy cosmo.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Pink Room and food and beverages will benefit the ICanServe Foundation Inc. to fund the cause of early breast cancer detection and awareness.

“Radisson Blu Cebu is proud to support the efforts of this global campaign. Together with our guests, we are looking forward to raising awareness against the disease,” said general manager Laurent Boisdron. Cassandra C. Poculan
