Abaca group launches new fast casual brand
The Abaca Group adds a new brand to its fast growing lineup of creative restaurants. Red Lizard Taqueria is a fast casual Mexican restaurant serving traditional flavors fresh, fast and at just the right price point.
Red Lizard’s service may be speedy, but your food will still be carefully prepared and made only with premium ingredients— faithful to The Abaca Group’s brand philosophy that many have come to love. The Red Lizard menu is a mix of Mexican favorites, such as hard and soft shell tacos, taquitos, macho nachos, and gigantic burritos. A not-to-miss item on the menu is the Lizard Rice, which is a spicy fried rice that’s cooked to order and served with a fried egg and a juicy Mexican chorizo sausage. Pitchers of mojitos and margaritas are available, as well as local and imported beers.
The restaurant brings out the fun in dining as the group has again partnered with Cebu’s own Happy Garaje to create the eye-popping packaging, illustrations and interior elements of the brand. The internationally renowned design studio has been known for its remarkable, playful work on previous projects with The Abaca Group, and it’s carried the same zest and creativity to Red Lizard. There is an array of characters in this comic-book-comes-to-life concept with the Red Lizard as its main attraction. The Red Lizard, a legendary Luchador, is a masked hero with a 35-year winning streak. Throughout the branding, you will see his growing list of adversarios and criminales to entertain you.
It’s looking to be another successful venture for The Abaca Group. Red Lizard Taqueria promises fresh, fast, and tasty Mexican flavors that will keep you coming back for more. Red Lizard will also open in Robinsons Galleria and Ayala Center Cebu just in time for summer.
Red Lizard Taqueria is located at the Filinvest Cyberzone Bldg. in Cebu I.T. Park.
