Terrazas de Flores is a botanical garden created and designed by Yuri Barrameda eight years ago as an expression of love for his three children. The vast property has 56 terraces with 127 species of plants and flowers. Aside from a cafe that offers a wide selection of international dishes, the property also has cozy cabanas and an art gallery where local artists can showcase their work.

We all show our sentiments differently. One of many is saying it with flowers. In the case of Yuri Barrameda, his display of affection comes in volumes and stands proud in the hills of Busay.

Located in Brgy. Malubog is Terrazas de Flores, a botanical garden made as a form of expression of his love for his three children.

It was created eight years ago and was designed by the owner himself along with the help of upland farmers. The vast property has 56 terraces with 127 species of plants and flowers sprawled all over the garden.

Guests can choose to walk among the flora and fauna not to mention the poems decorated

all over the place, or enjoy the sights while hanging out indulging in a wide selection of international dishes, coffees and wines at its café that gives its patrons a full glimpse of the place, or at its cozy cabanas. It also has an art gallery atop the land where local artists can showcase their works.

Enveloped in nature, this botanical reprieve from the metropolitan lifestyle is a 15- minute drive from the city.

Be that the intention or the idea is simply to revel in the beauty, this is a perfect spot to do so, especially when it’s close to sundown. But whether one gets the chance to visit it during the day or night, it’s equally a tranquil and romantic place all throughout the day.

Terrazas de Flores is open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday-Friday and 8 a.m. until midnight on Saturdays and Sundays.
