SunStar partners with Layout International

Sunstar Cebu has signed an agreement with Layout International, a leading supplier of editorial management systems, to optimize the production cycle of the newspaper and engage in the digital transformation process.

The total solution to be deployed consists of The NewsPress editorial workflow management system and the A7Pro digital archiving system, as well as a new website. These solutions bring in Layout International’s industry experience and expertise as well as state-of-the-art technology, to help Sunstar Cebu move faster and easier into an automated production cycle and a digitized content and multi-platform publishing.

“We are well aware that a strong digital presence and publishing across varied platforms are a key to sustain and succeed in today’s fast-evolving technological boom,” said Bayani Garcia, who heads Sunstar Marketing. “We have teamed up with Layout International to reach our objective because their industry-specific expertise and best practices knowledge have proven to be effective in producing tangible results.”

These systems will also allow Sunstar to connect all their offices, and centralize the work of all collaborating editors.
