Cebu has conquered local and international flair for fashion where designers par excellence like Philip Rodriguez, Cary Santiago, Dexter Alazas, Jun Escario, OJ Hofer, among many others, dress up beauty queens.
Rustan’s has been the forerunner in the variety of fashionable clothes, fitting male and female for informal and formal wear. I remember how my brother started Silvano, Silva Star, Lady Rustan etc. Then came fellow Maryknoller Criselda Lontoc.
SP COMMUNICATION KIT: Emcee-ing anyone? This is a good start for a career in public speaking. To be a good emcee, one has to be amiable, alert, accommodating, articulate, flexible, on time and never a “grand stander,” like stealing the show, talking or joking too much. Most of all, the emcee must coordinate with the program and production director and staff. His behavior, dress code and “adlibs” must fit the occasion. I saw how my friend, Bunny Pages, transformed into one of the best emcees, not to forget the bubbly Michael Go.
