Diplo greets PH

Diplo tweeted about the Philippine Independence Day yesterday (Monday in the US).

“ARAW NG KALAYAAN (Day of Independence),” he tweeted along with the Philippine flag emoji. “'Cause I'm father to some lil Filipinoz.”

Whatever the DJ meant, some Filipinos were just happy to oblige, replying to Diplo's tweet. Some called him daddy, others tweeted “tito” while some just greeted him back with “Happy Independence Day.”

But it wasn't the only thing Diplo tweeted about yesterday. He also addressed ex-girlfriend Katy Perry's interview with James Corden where the pop star was “forced” to rank her exes: Diplo, actor Orlando Bloom and musician John Mayer.

To be fair, Perry told Corden that all three of her previous lovers were great in bed. And it was Corden who joked that Diplo must rank third, or else, he wouldn't be a DJ. Perry agreed.

Then Corden guessed that Bloom must be the best lover with Mayer as runner-up, to which Perry shook her head in dissent.

But Diplo showed he has a sense of humor, tweeting: “I won the bronze medal in sex Olympics,” along with a medal emoji.
