Kris Aquino promised she would not talk about her upcoming Hollywood film. Her US-based agent advised her against blabbering, which she is known to do.

But Aquino didn't need to talk about having a role in Crazy Rich

Asians, which is currently filming in Singapore. Her photos on Instagram couldn't be any clearer. Plus, the film's Wikipedia page already had Aquino's name on it, purportedly in a “cameo role.”

One of Aquino's latest Instagram posts was with the lead actress of Crazy Rich Asians, Constance Wu.

In the photo, Aquino was all glammed up while Wu was in a simple New York Giants T-shirt.

“#fangirl moment. We've seen every episode of three seasons of #freshofftheboat and so happy they've been renewed for Season 4. Thank you, @wonstancecoo, for being so gracious. I know how exhausted she was but she still made the effort to pleasantly converse with me,” Aquino captioned the photo.

Wu replied: “So great to meet you! See ya tomorrow.” The Fresh

Off the Boat actress added a heart emoji.

Replying to a friend, Aquino said she felt giddy meeting Wu.

“She was genuinely charming,” Aquino described Wu. Apl.de.ap chimed in: “Hiiiiii.: Could the Black Eyed Peas member have a role in Crazy

Rich Asians, too? After all, director John Chu and author Kevin Kwan said the film will have an all-Asian cast.

Actress Iza Calzado also cheered Aquino on, commenting on her Instagram post: “Wooooohooooo.”

Aquino's role is still unknown but there was a report she would be portraying an Asian princess. And on account of not being able to talk about the film as advised, Aquino just posted a photo of a crown in yet another Instagram post.

“Within each of us is a princess,” the photo states.

Aquino captioned the photo: “Wear your crown with grace and dignity” along with three heart emojis.

If one believes in Wikipedia, Aquino only has a cameo role in the film. But she brought along a whole crew to assist her.

In one Instagram post, Aquino revealed she was headed to rehearsal. She thanked seven people who have accompanied her.

Defensively, Aquino said in Tagalog: “Before you comment that I brought along a lot of people, I spent for their air fare, hotel and professional fees.”

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I just wanted the people who really make me look my best, and those who have showed me true compassion, loyalty and love to be part of this extraordinary experience,” Aquino added, revealing she was nervous and excited at the same time to do her first Hollywood film.

But this is not Aquino's first international film. In 1991, she starred in the Hong Kong film

Happy Ghost V also known in the Philippines as Magic to Win 5.
