Vice Ganda vs. Coco

- ROGER SERNA rodzsugbo88@gmail.com

Aslice of the so-called lifestyle of the rich and famous was what I personally experienced three weeks ago when I was invited to be a part of the sunset cruise aboard P/Y Jokai-1. Carmela Millan, president of Jokai Marine International, was on board the pleasure yacht to personally welcome the guests: event organizers, ramp and commercial models and friends.

Ringo Jay Trinio of RJT Events and Promotions/ Dance Fusion Co. Studio assisted Ms. Carmela in attending to the needs of the guests. Needless to say, the experience of watching the sunset in vivid colors set against the landscape and seascape of Lapu-Lapu City and nearby areas was quite exhilarating.

*** Promo diva Josie Pereyra sometimes uses modern technology to make things easier for the Cebu entertainment media to gather juicy information from celebrities.

Because of the hectic schedule of the cast of Bloody Crayons, the handlers of the stars suggested an online interview instead of the usual personal question-and-answer encounter with the stars of Star Cinema’s latest visual treat: Elmo Magalona, Janella Salvador, Yves Flores, Ronnie Alonti and others. The movie will open in cinemas nationwide on Wednesday, July 12.

*** Real-life friends Vice Ganda and Coco Martin will be competing against each other in attracting moviegoers to their respective movies at the Metro Manila Film Festival in December.

Vice will be in The Revengers while Coco will be in another Fernando Poe Jr. original, Ang Panday.

Vice has Daniel Padilla, among others, as co-star while Coco will have 2017 Bb. PilipinasInternational Mariel de Leon as leading lady. Which movie will be able to draw the bigger crowd? Your guess is as good as mine.
