3 Scenarios for Mayweather vs Mcgregor

Nothing is impossible and so I have to give him (McGregor) that chance, no matter how miniscule that is.

Conor Mcgregor will be way in over his head this Sunday and he will find out why he is out of his element when he faces Floyd Mayweather Jr inside a boxing ring.

But of course, nothing is impossible and so I have to give him that chance, no matter how miniscule that is.

Below are the three possible scenarios that I could concoct for this freakshow of a spectacle.

FIRST. As promised, Mayweather comes out aggressively and meets McGregor in the center of the ring.

He doesn't 't back down and doesn't't take a step back. However he deftly weaves in and out of harms way and covers up nicely, exhibiting that near flawless Mayweather defense.

Mcgregor unloads on his gloves and shoulders and arms but fails to land a solid shot.

Suddenly, Mayweather un- corks a beautifully timed uppercut near the end of the round that lands hard and snaps Mcgregor's head back. The Irishman shows bravado and invites Money to land some more just as the bell rings.

It's more of the same in the next few rounds as Mayweather opts to stand firm and cover up when Mcgregor attacks. It seems like his strategy is to tire out Mcgregor.

In the middle rounds, Mayweather starts countering Mcgregor with body shots. At first they seem innocuous but by round 7, Mcgregor starts to slow down and his punch output wanes.

Mayweather starts to walk down the Irishman in rounds 8 and 9 and by the championship rounds seems to be settling for target practice.

Mcgregor however gets his second wind in the championship rounds and unloads wildly but Mayweather is almost impossible to tag cleanly.

He seems to be carrying Mcgregor up to the final bell and the crowd starts booing. In the end it's a unanimous decision win for Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his 50th career victory.

SECOND. To the surprise of his fans, Mcgegor starts out the first round tentatively, and seems to be figuring out his opponent. Mayweather pops out jabs and lures Mcgregor into opening himself up for counters. Then it happens. Because he has never been in a boxing ring before, Mcgregor's movements are offbeat and awkward.

His tricky, gawky movement results in an accidental clash of heads in the third round. Mayweather gets the worst of it as he is cut right above left eye. Mcgregor's gash is at his forehead but it doesn't appear to be a cause for worry. ( To be continued)

LAST ROUND. It's on one of my best buds from high school, Dr. Gerry Ypil who recently celebrated his birthday. Cheers!
