Korean Film Festival at SM City Cebu
The annual Korean Film Festival will again showcase five critically acclaimed films at SM City Cebu beginning Sept. 28 until Oct. 1.
This year's lineup of Korean films include “How To Steal A Dog,” “Twenty,” “My Brilliant Life,” “Very Ordinary Couple” and “The King of Jokgu.”
This festival is a joint partnership between the Korean Embassy's Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines and SM Cinemas.
To get tickets, one may simply visit SM Cinema in SM City Cebu. Tickets will be released on a first-come-firstserved basis and one ticket per person only.
The event is part of the Korean Festival, which SM City Cebu is hosting. The festival, which is a four-day event featuring a Korean Food Fair, Korean Culture Exhibit and K-Pop competition, starts on Thursday.
One may see the wonders of Incheon, Korea through an exhibit at the Northwing Atrium from Thursday to Saturday.
Those interested in Korean culture can check out the Korean Culture exhibit from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 at the main mall atrium. The exhibit includes traditional arts, music and garments.
The Korean food extravaganza is happening from Sep. 29 to Oct. 1 near Entrance 1 of the main mall. The exhibit features traditional Korean food products and specialty products from different regions of Korea.
One could also witness the different K-Pop groups compete for the Cebu K-Pop Star finals set on Sept. 29, 6 p.m. at the Northwing Atrium.
To cap off the celebration, different performances from schools, universities, as well as from Cebuano talents take place during the Grand Korea Day on Sept. 30, 6 p.m. at the Northwing Atrium.
