One may now shop for Christmas gifts until he drops in Guam. For Cebu Pacific passengers who have booked a flight from Manila to Guam and have purchased 40 kg baggage allowance, Cebu Pacific offers an additional 25 kilograms baggage allowance for free. The promo runs from September until Dec. 15.

With this, one may enjoy a total of 65 kg total check-in baggage which is equivalent to the weight of a Balikbayan box. The free baggage allowance will be added upon check-in at the airport.

Guam is set to hold the Shop Guam Festival (SGF) this November, one of the biggest shopping events in the Pacific region. SGF is a signature annual event from November to February that aims to create an interactive shopping experience highlighting the country as a modern, fashionable and diverse destination to shop in. The SGF is organized by the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB).

“Guam offers one of the very best shopping experiences in the Asia-Pacific region, with its combination of luxury brands, American heritage labels and deeply discounted outlet shops. We are excited to offer passengers traveling to and from Guam the free top-up of a maximum 25 kilograms on their 40 kilogram baggage allowance, to make room for the great deals they will find. There’s less reason to worry about excess baggage, and more reason to complete the holiday shopping,” said Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and distribution.

Cebu Pacific started flying from Manila to Guam in March last year. From then, the country’s biggest airline flies up to three times weekly to and from Guam, offering seamless connections to a total of 37 domestic and 26 other international destinations across Asia, USA, Middle East and Australia.
