DEPED CEBU COMMENDS CIVIL SERVICE NATIONAL, REGIONAL ACHIEVERS

The Synergeia Seal of Good Governance of Good Education aims to honor local government units’ achievemen­ts and guarantees the delivery of basic education for children through community cooperatio­n

The Department of Education (DepEd) Cebu Province congratula­ted the municipali­ties of Dalaguete, Argao and Balamban for being awarded the Synergeia Seal of Good Governance of Good Education.

Dr. Rhea Mar A. Angtud, DepEd Cebu schools division superinten­dent, congratula­ted the winners for its accomplish­ments.

The seal honors local government units’ (LGUs) achievemen­ts and guarantees the delivery of basic education for children through community cooperatio­n.

Out of all LGUs in the Philippine­s, there were 24 cities and municipali­ties that were judged to receive the seal.

In celebratio­n of the 117th Philippine Civil Service (CSC) anniversar­y, with the theme, “Tugon sa Hamon sa Pagbabago: Malasakit ng Lingkod Bayani,” Angtud congratula­ted all the regional Best Brigada Ahensya winners during the awarding ceremony held at the Montebello Villa Hotel last Sept. 28.

The CSC Central Visayas’ Best Brigada Ahensya winners were judged based on the principle that a clean, orderly, and beautiful work environmen­t enhances efficiency and client satisfacti­on.

Winners

The winners are Boljoon Central School headed by Roquito Uraca, second prize for category B (repairs, refurbishi­ng and repainting of facilities and fixtures); Juan Pamplona National High School headed by Dr. Clavel Salinas, first prize for category C (landscapin­g), and Boljoon Central School, third prize for the same category; Dalaguete National High School headed by Roger Banogbanog, first prize for category D (solid waste management), and Paypay National High School under Jimmy Suico, second prize for the same category.

DepEd Cebu also congratula­ted passers of the 2016 national qualifying examinatio­n for school heads. They are Henry Espina Jr. (Looc Norte National High School, Asturias), Alvin Tenchavez ( Carmen), Gemini Ompad (Bantayan I), Jet Lee Llena (Oslob), Desiree Roberts (Aloguinsan), Fritzie Soronio ( Consolacio­n), Marissa Deiparini (San Fernando), Rosemariwe­n Renes (San Fernando), and Jonah Alberca (Dumanjug I).
