COPS DEFEND USE OF SONIC WEAPON ON PROTESTERS
The National Capital Region Police Office has defended the use of a sonic weapon to disperse protesters, saying it is not fatal and causes only discomfort. “The water cannon is more painful especially if it’s high pressure. It’s like being punched,” said NCRPO Director Oscar Albayalde.
