4 EVENING BLAZE KILLS MAN IN SOGOD

A 79-year-old man died after an evening fire hit their home in Barangay Damolog, Sogod last Sunday. The victim was identified as Leodegario Montecillo. He was living with his 77-yearold wife, Alicia. She, however, was not around when the blaze started. The house of the Montecillos, which was made of light materials, was located two kilometers away from the town proper. They also lived far from their neighbors. Their house was destroyed by the fire that was reportedly caused by an unattended lamp. The incident happened at 8 p.m. last Sunday. /
