SM sets opening of ‘Cebu! Cebu!’

SM City Cebu together with the Department of Trade and Industry in Region 7 and Cebu Province set the opening of an exhibit showcasing the best of Cebu to welcome visitors and balikbayans in time for the Sinulog celebration.

“Cebu! Cebu!” will feature the creations of Chambers: The Cebu Project—an unprecedented treasure trove of Cebuano products from the furniture, home décor and fashion accessories sectors. Meant to emulate a resort, this curated and experiential setting showcases the beautiful and world-class masterpieces designed by Cebu’s pre-eminent talents and handcrafted by the island’s skilled artisans.

Organizations participating in this year’s “Cebu! Cebu!” include Cebu Furniture Industries Fashion Inc., Cebu Gifts, Toys and Houseware Foundation Inc. and Cebu Fashion Accessories, Manufacturers and Exports Foundation (Cebu Fame). Also joining the team of experts putting together the layout and design of the exhibit is Cebu- based British driftwood sculptor James Doran Webb.

Last October 2017, Chambers: The Cebu Project made a showcase at the 66th edition of Manila Fame, the country’s premier lifestyle and design event at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

The “Cebu! Cebu!” grand launch is set on Jan. 10, 6 p.m, at the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu and the exhibit will run until Jan. 22. Products from the different exhibitors are also on sale from Jan. 10 to 22 on the second level near Our Home in The Northwing.
