EducationUSA, the U.S. government’s official resource for students interested in pursuing higher education opportunities in the United States, will host its first university fair in Cebu on March 9, Friday.

The EducationUSA Fair at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu City will feature 22 U.S. colleges and universities.

The Fair will provide an opportunity for students, parents, and school administrators to interact with university representatives, learn about the U.S. college application process, and identify special programs and resources available to Filipino students.

This event is open to the public from 3 to 6 p.m. and is free of charge.

EducationUSA provides free advising services to prospective international students in more than 170 countries and helps students navigate the five steps to studying in the U.S.—researching schools, financing, completing the applica- tion, obtaining a student visa, and preparing for departure—and offers resources and tools for each step.

The program does not offer scholarships but can assist students in locating scholarship opportunities as they consider their options for funding a degree.
