Art All Over SM Seaside City

-

Art enables us to find and lose ourselves at the same time; visual art gives us the immeasurable imagination that could give us thousands of meaningful pictures.

SM Seaside City Cebu believes that art is a magical dimension of life, which should be experienced by individuals as a way of expression and relief.

The Art All Over of SM Seaside City helps individuals to appreciate humanities that touch culture, literature, philosophy and history.

On Feb. 27, the Art All Over launches at the Third Floor 632 Gallery A, together with the featured artists highlighting different activations of visual arts found inside the premises of SM Seaside City.

The 632 Gallery group of artists consists of six namely Maddy Boone, Maxcel Migalos, Denmark Cataluna, Panu Yu, Anne Amores and Neigel Delima; they are behind the huge rendering of mural paintings located at the two Hallways of SM Seaside leading to the Sky Park on the third floor. The concept of the piece is to promote Cebu as a city not of busy streets but a place where a strong lifestyle scene exists.

The Trashion Sculpture Exhibit by Francis Sollano located at the Second Floor Bridgeway at the City Wing gives an elegant piece of headdresses inspired by recycled materials. Trashion is a term for art, fashion and objects for the home created from used, thrown-out, found and repurposed elements.

Celebrating diversity of art, artists Gabriel Lichauco and Stanley Ruiz introduce the art of floating mass---a design to fill up an open space where a calculated positioning is made to show visual recollection that depicts lightness, fluidity, and movement. This kind of art can be seen at the Cube Wing Atrium.

Also on show is the Sinulog 2018 Photo Exhibit where photo contest winners’ works are displayed at the Second Floor Bridgeway of Seaview Wing.

Visit SM Seaside, and make it your top of mind destination when it comes to the scene of visual arts as it launches Art All Over.
