MEANT TO BE DRESSED A CERTAIN WAY
Everyone’s love story starts out differently; but fingers crossed, it leads to a happy ending. Because there’s nothing like the thought of spending the rest of your life with the person you’re destined to be with.
South Town Centre showed its audience its version of a happily ever after, with all the trimmings, as it presented the “Meant To Be” Valentine Bridal Fashion Show last Feb. 17.
That night, the spotlight was on the bevy of models in wedding-themed designs walking the runway, portraying stories and possibilities.
The show presented designs of some of the city’s notable fashion designers: Jongz Loquinario, Winston Sy, Eve Navales, Bongbong Flores, Lord Maturan, Angela Dado, Bebes Garso, Valerie Alvez, Mel Maria, Edward Castro, Edwin Alba, Philipp Tampus, Lemuel Rosos and Wilma Menares.
Each design, from gowns to tuxedos, in its own way, tells a version of happily ever after and the happiness in celebrating love with the one you’re meant to be with. Add in the flower girls to the entourage; it completes the wedding experience.
Days leading up to the fashion show, an exhibit fair took place from Feb. 14 to 16, filling the mall with experts from the wedding industry on full display from makeup artists, stylists, caterers, photographers, videographers, suppliers and wedding gowns by some of the city’s fashion designers. Exhibitors included Fashion Institute of Design and Arts, Spectacular Weddings and Events, Crystal Decade Wedding and Events, Designers Eye Events, Genteel Events and Styles, PAS Digital Studio and Ken’s Flower Shop.
