Doesn’t it look and sound odd that the one complaining loudly about VM Edgar’s appointment as head of PDP Laban Cebu City is not even a member of the party? Mayor Tomas Osmeña is BOPK and LP although some of the party mates are defectors to the national ruling party.

Whoever is the source of the complaint, though, the issue must be threshed out. The “rift” would make it appear that top PDP-Laban leaders have given confusing signals.

VM Edgar said he’s not too keen about the title and he didn’t ask for it. He should have done so and since it is now his, he should fight to keep it.

That could make a difference in the race for city mayor.
