A suspected drug pusher who claimed to be the brother of a Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 7 agent was arrested in a drug bust by the City Drug Enforcement Unit of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) yesterday afternoon.

The City Intelligence Branch (CIB) chief, Supt. Cristopher Navida, identified the arrested person as Ihrkie Rallos, 40, who was caught in Bliss, Barangay Labangon together with three others. “His name had been floated in previous operations in Labangon and Tisa. He also dropped the names of our personnel here in CCPO and that includes names of agents in PDEA but we don’t know the particular names yet,” Navida said.

Rallos, in an interview with SunStar Cebu, said that he had been warned by his brother to stop engaging in illegal drugs. “He even let me undergo drug rehabilitation but I still used illegal drugs,” he admitted.

Also caught were John Kenneth Prajes, 24, Joshua Palatolon, 19, and Virgilio Dumagsa Jr., 64. They yielded drugs with a Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) estimated value of P5, 664, had these reached the streets.

Three suspected drug personalities in Barangay Pahina-Central were also caught last Thursday evening. The arrested persons were identified as Ritchel Tuazon, 41, Nichollelito Tuazon, 23, and John Arcilla, 24 who yielded P202, 960 worth of illegal drugs.
