1ST VISMIN INTER-AYALA ERT TILT HELD IN CEBU
Emergency response teams (ERT) from different Ayala developments in the Visayas and Mindanao put their skills to the test as the first VisMin Inter-Ayala ERT competition was held at the Cebu Business Park, Cebu City last July 21.
The competition is an initiative to help enhance vigilance and sharpen skills among emergency responders in different Ayala developments during crisis situations.
“We are doing this to signify our commitment to building stronger and safer communities within Ayala Land developments,” said Kim Serate, Ayala Property Management Corp. associate director for VisMin Estate Management Group.
A total of 15 teams from various ERTs around VisMin participated as they showcased their skills in proper response and rescue execution during emergencies. Teams competed in different relays, namely, fire extinguisher, rescue and first aid, and fire hose relay.
The ERTs from Ayala Center Cebu Tower reigned as overall champion, followed by Makati Development Corp. in second place, and the Davao team placing third.
Participants included ERTs from Ayala Land developments in VisMin such as, Abreeza estate and residences from Davao, Atria estate from Iloilo, Ayala Center Cebu Tower, Cebu Business Park, Cebu IT Park, Makati Development Corporation, Ayala Center Cebu, Park Point Residences, eBloc Towers 1 and 4, eBloc Towers 2 and 3, Avida Towers Riala, TechTower, Avida Towers Cebu, and Solinea.
The first VisMin Inter-Ayala ERT competition also aims to strengthen camaraderie among responders in efforts to better protect its managed properties and developments.
“We are making safety as our way of life because we want our responders to practice foresight in ensuring safety within our developments,” said Serate.
