I’m one of the many who cheered the victory of Margielyn Didal of Lahug, Cebu City in the skateboarding competition in the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia.

I hope Margielyn’s victory will serve as eye-opener among leaders of the sport and the like to be given attention and an appropriate venue for the enthusiasts to perfect their craft.

On Sept. 8, The Beatles fans in Cebu will be reliving the soundtrack of their lives with the hits of The Beatles including “All My Loving,” “Hey Jude,” “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” and many others including cuts from the iconic “The White Album.”

The Bootleg Beatles does not only have an uncanny resemblance to the original Fab Four but also sounds almost the same as John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

Costumes and authentic period instruments also play important roles in the spectacle. The Bootleg Beatles will do its Cebu comeback concert at the IECIC3 International Convention Center Cebu.

Was Daniel Padilla’s admission of his relationship with Kathryn Bernardo timed with the release of their movie “The Hows of Us?” Whatever the reason, the act reportedly amplified the excitement of their fans over the popular love team.

Will wedding bells be heard in the next five years? The two are non-committal, saying it’s still far.

Even without love scenes, the movie is said to be the tandem’s most mature project so far. Daniel divulged that they requested an out-of-the-country locale, specifically New Zealand.

The production instead gave them Amsterdam, which both Daniel and Kathryn were very grateful for. They describe the place as a showcase of how the residents love and take care of their own environment.
