Cebuano powerlifters grab titles in 2018 Dewfoam Visayas Raw tilt

Cebu powerlifters were among the winners in the 2018 Dewfoam Visayas Raw Powerlifting Championships held last Sept. 22 and 23 in Tacloban City.

Most of the members of the JKFPF Cebu Powerlifting team won gold medals in several weight classes and divisions. The JKFPF stands for the Joseph Kyu and Friends Powerlifting Federation based in Cebu.

The JKFPF was the overall champion in the team event and took second place in the team - junior division in the Visayas championships.

The Visayas competition was part of the Powerlifting Association of the Philippines (PAP) activities for this year that included regional tilts in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, leading to the national finals.

The culminating contest will be the Asian Raw PL to be held on December 3 to 8, 2018 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, the PAP said in its Facebook page. /
