PROUDLY NOT NUMBER ONE!

Parkmall Aims to be Better at 10

-

While many others are hell-bent on claiming the top spot among industry players, Parkmall sets its sights on developing ideas and solutions that are not only marketable but more importantly, customer-centric. Instead of trying to one-up its competitors, it focuses on improving its own products and services for an even better experience for mallgoers. It stays true to itself and its brand promise of being an all-inclusive lifestyle destination. Parkmall takes pride in being the first pet-friendly mall in Cebu, as well as being an incubator of new business concepts. Its tenants have grown from only three in 2008 to over 300 at present. In the selection process, Parkmall puts its customers above everything else. It finds suitable brands that would complement the ever-changing lifestyle of the Mandauehanons. More exciting changes will take shape in Parkmall. It will soon connect the al fresco area from the main mall to the enclave building where the casino is located. Also in the pipeline are the renovation of the PUJ terminal, the upgrading of the Piazza Rotunda as an event venue, and even more events and campaigns each month. Not only has Parkmall become the needed catalyst of growth in the North Reclamation Area, it has also generated more than 1,000 permanent jobs both directly and indirectly through its tenants and other services in the last decade. And because Parkmall is proudly made in Cebu, it gives back to the Cebuano community by highlighting Cebuano talents, products and concepts through the mall’s events and leasing opportunities. Its campaigns and events are geared towards fostering community building and fueled by different passions and interests. “Parkmall revolutionized the mall experience of every Cebuano, especially the people of Mandaue City. It has also revolutionized the experience of pet lovers, of the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) community because they’re so welcoming, and the activities have been so dynamic,” said Mandaue City treasurer lawyer Regal Oliva in an interview. “Ten years ago, that area was a deserted one, but ever since Parkmall arrived, the mushroom of economic activity in the area has really grown tremendously. We have always been known as the industrial capital of the south and no commercial activity can thrive in Mandaue, but Parkmall changed that,” she added.

“We acknowledge that we are in a very competitive industry and we may not be the no. 1 mall. But we continue to aspire to be a better lifestyle destination for Cebuanos, providing a space for their passions and interests. We are proud to be where we are today.” – Engr. Neal Carlson Co
