TEPPAN OKONOMIYAKI OPENS 2ND BRANCH IN CEBU

Teppan Okonomiyaki brings the famous dish in Hiroshima, Japan called the okonomiyaki on the third level of the Mountain Wing of SM Seaside City Cebu. After the success of its first branch in Mandaue City last 2016, Teppan Okonomiyaki opens another branch for the people in the south to try okonomiyaki. The place can accommodate up to 52 customers. The owners decided to open a restaurant in Cebu because there were no Japanese restaurants then that sold okonomiyaki, a Japanese savory pancake. But unlike the other okonomiyaki, the Hiroshima style is layered rather than mixed. The layers are crepe, cabbage, meat and optional seafood (squid and octopus), cheese, yakisoba or udon noodles topped with fried egg and okonomiyaki sauce. Among the bestsellers are yakisoba noodles, monjayaki and takoyaki.
