Trans Pacific Air Service to represent Tigerair Taiwan

-

Tigerair Taiwan appointed Trans Pacific Air Service Corp. as its official general sales agent (GSA) partner in the Philippines.

As the low cost carrier’s GSA, the company will provide support across the airline’s passenger ticket sales, marketing, ticketing and reservations needs.

“We look forward to serving Taiwan’s first and only LCC, and this means our full dedication and commitment to Tigerair Taiwan and the passengers who wish to book their flights to Taipei,” says Trans Pacific Air Services head of passenger GSA Ray Samonte.

The Taipei-based airline will first takeoff from Cebu on Dec. 2, and will fly to Taipei four times weekly. Inbound flight IT538 will depart Cebu every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

As an introductory fare, Trans Pacific Air Service is offering roundtrip flights from Cebu to Taipei for as low as US$69, excluding air taxes and baggage, with travel dates on Dec. 2 to Dec. 4 or Dec. 3 to Dec. 6.

“This is our way of welcoming the airline to the Philippines and at the same time providing an opportunity for more of our fellow Cebuanos to visit Taipei in the cold month of December,” added Samonte.

Tigerair Taiwan has a growing network of 20 destinations with 27 routes to and from the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Macau and Thailand. /
