One of the finest destinations in town and currently the biggest hotel in the Visayas and Mindanao region, bai Hotel Cebu, celebrated its recent grand opening gala and Christmas Tree Lighting following the success of its soft opening over a year ago!
To signify the formal opening, the afternoon event unfolded with a ribbon cutting ceremony led by Alfred Reyes (bai Hotel Cebu vice president for operations and general manager), Roland Jegge (president, APAC of WorldHotels), Shalimar Hofer Tamano (Department of Tourism 7 Regional Director) and the bai Hotel Board of Directors, followed by a magical show with fairies, elves and ballerinas who lit up the Christmas tree toward sundown. Endless cocktails and performances culminated the evening at the Lapu-Lapu Grand Ballroom featuring the molecular dessert station, the first-of-its-kind in Cebu created by bai’s very own pastry chefs!
