8T supporters expected to join HNP-Barug rally

THE political alliance Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio will hold a rally in Cebu City to endorse the candidates of Barug PDP-Laban on Thursday afternoon, March 21.

Cebu City Councilor Raymond Garcia said they are expecting 8,000 supporters to witness the proclamation rally at the IEC Convention Center in Barangay Mabolo.

Carpio is expected to raise the hands of Cebu City Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella and former Cebu City mayor Michael Rama. They are running for mayor and vice mayor, respectively.

Last Feb. 24, President Rodrigo Duterte had raised the hands of Labella and Rama during a political rally held at the Plaza Independencia in Cebu City.

Also on Thursday, HNP-supported senatorial candidates Bong Go, Ronald dela Rosa and Imee Marcos will meet with their supporters in Mandaue City. They are expected to endorse reelectionists Mayor Luigi Quisumbing and Vice Mayor Carlo Fortuna. /
