Molecular mixology at bai
PUTTING a modern spin on cocktails, bai Hotel Cebu’s Twilight Roofdeck Lounge and Bar hosted an evening of dramatic drinks and creative cocktails called Neon Nights: An Evening of Molecular Mixology.
Mojito Pops, Vodka Drops, Jello Shots – collectively called molecular cocktails – are the result of a special practice of mixing drinks using scientific techniques of molecular gastronomy on regular cocktails. Designed exceptionally, these drinks are either gelatinized or blended and come in different textures to enhance the guests’ drinking experience.
The molecular bar and molecular cocktails menu were formally presented to the guests by the end of the night to highlight a few of its newest cocktails: Flavored Daiquiri, Gin Spirits, Old Fashioned Smoked Caviar, Whisky Smoked Tea, Tiki Black and bai Manhattan.
