JVC seals contracts with partners

-

JOHNDORF Ventures Corp. (JVC) formally engaged its project partners to commence construction of the 21-storey Johndorf Tower across Ayala Center Cebu at the Cebu Business Park.

JVC president and chief executive officer (CEO) Richard D. Lim signed the contract recently with top executives of the four companies who are leaders in their respective industries and professions.

The company engaged architect Jose Siao Ling of Jose Siao Ling & Associates (JSLA) for the architectural designs and tapped engineer Manuel Mendoza, president and CEO of Monocrete Construction Philippines Inc. (MCPI), as general contractor.

With the tower designed to be a certified Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) compliant building, JVC commissioned Dean Barone of Barone International as LEED consultant.

JVC also teamed up with David Leechiu of Leechiu Property Consultants Inc. (LPC) as exclusive leasing agent for the building’s office and business spaces.

According to Lim, “The synergy of Johndorf and our project partners in developing this project will redefine the construction industry in Cebu in terms of sustainability and collaboration.”

JVC broke ground for the P1.6 billion Johndorf Tower on Feb. 21, 2019 at the site located beside the Ayala Life FGU Center between Mindanao Ave. and Biliran Loop.

Scheduled to be completed in two and a half years, the building has a total leasable space of 18,000 square meters, with 300 parking slots, retail stores at the ground level and al fresco restaurants connected to the estate’s park, according to Ed Byron Monares, JVC project development manager.

For over 30 years, JVC has been developing both vertical and horizontal residential projects in the Visayas and Mindanao. /
