Triple Double erases 12-point lead to beat Suarez by one
TRIPLE Double snatched a close 74-73 win over Suarez in the Southside Basketball League Season 4 at the Sacred Heart Center basketball court last Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019.
It was a spectacular comefrom-behind win for Triple Double, which found themselves trailing, 62-49, heading to the final canto. However, Triple Double summoned adequate resolve to make their way back and claim the one-point win.
Joseph Resol helped carry Triple Double to the win as he tallied 22 points, three boards and two assists.
In other games, the Prayboys won by 40 over Cordial, 99-59, thanks to the 33-point explosion of Archie Ladero, who also had four rebounds and four assists.
The Outkasts also clobbered SKT Enterprises, 103-79, as Jay Minoza had himself the highest-scoring game of the season so far, producing a whopping 52 points to go with seven assists, four assists and two steals.
The Eye Browse Optical routed the Guardians, 123-102, behind Christian Gallarde’s 37 points and seven assists.
The Dumagetme also came away with a 94-78 victory over the White Wolves. JC Alonso piled up 23 points in the Dumagetme win. /
