RADISSON Blu Cebu continues its pursuit in elevating the high tea experience through its creative presentation of its Signature Afternoon High Tea, recognized in 2019 as the “Best High Tea Set” by SunStar Best of Cebu.

Guests looking to indulge in the three-tiered novelty, crafted by executive chef Nick van Riemsdijk, together with pastry chef Alfredo Gapo Jr., are treated to a British tradition that boasts of international fare while incorporating a touch of Filipino cuisine to it.

Enjoy a merry mix of desserts like the cherry-shaped mousse, chocolate éclair, mango pavlova; and savory ones like the lechon empanada, finger sandwiches like speck ham with gruyere cheese; and of course, the scones—paired with a varied selection of Dilmah teas.

These are just some of the many choices one can expect as it varies season to season and is tailor fit to a certain holiday or observance, like Easter Sunday for instance (so guests can experience some bunny-shaped surprises).

“It has been around for a long time but we’re always looking for ways to enhance the high tea experience, not just serving the set and then that’s it,” said Radisson Blu Cebu’s marketing and communications executive Christine Estrella. “We want to complement it with something else. Tea is known to stimulate one’s creativity and productivity so we want to pair it with a lot of experiences,” she added, recalling some of the hotel’s interactive events like the “Art Meets Tea” in partnership with local artists that involved workshop and other activities. Guests can look forward to more activities like this soon.

Indulge in the Signature Afternoon High Tea at the Lobby Lounge of Radisson Blu Cebu from 2 to 5 p.m. daily. Guests can choose from the high tea made for one or made for two.
