CONFUSING LETTERS IN THE ALPHABET: ALL CQs BUT WHICH?

[1] Cebu City was ECQ before June 1 but wanted GCQ. IATF instead granted MECQ but the president changed it to MGCQ. Later, heeding Cebu City’s appeal, IATF put the city with the rest of Cebu under GCQ, from June 1 to 15.

[2] Cebu Province, under GCQ from May 20 to May 31, wanted to move to MGCQ but was told by IATF to stay put. Now it’s preparing for a June 12 transition to MGCQ.

Residents of affected LGUs are confused enough by the welter of CQs. Many still don’t know how one quarantine differs from another.
