EALA PLUNGES BACK INTO ACTION IN W25 MANACOR
FILIPINA tennis phenom Alex Eala sees action in her fifth professional tournament when she competes in the International Tennis Federation World Tennis Tour W25 Manacor in Mallorca, Spain.
The 15-year-old is fresh off the W25 Grenoble last month where she reached the quarterfinals but lost to Polish netter Maja Chwalinska, 0-6, 4-6. Eala was facing off against the 20year old Simona Waltert from Switzerland as of press time. Waltert is the no. 284 ranked player in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) singles rankings and has five pro titles across her name including one this year at the W15 Manacor.
She then went on to reach the quarterfinals in each of her next three tournaments. /
