Maidz, Gil Div’s victorious in Casa Mira Linao’s summer league opener

MAIDZ and Gil Div’s were victorious in the season opener of Casa Mira Linao Basketball Club Summer League at Casa Mira Linao basketball court in Minglanilla, Cebu on April 24, 2022.

Maidz walked away with an 8075 overtime win over Avengers.

Maidz was single-handedly carried by Kaiser Ouandasan, who exploded with 51 points.

He also grabbed five rebounds, dished out four assists and had two steals.

Daison Aninon led Avengers with 20 markers, 18 boards, four assists, two steals and four blocks. Daxie Ynot added 15, JC Romero had 14 and John Ivan Nuncio scored 10.

Meanwhile, Maidz scored a come-from-behind 78-76 win over Ruki.

Bryan Divinagracia led Maidz with 24 points, Gil Divinagracia added 16 and Lison Alcantara chipped in 15.

Errol Dela Cruz had a double-double with 24 points and 14 boards to lead Ruki in a losing effort. Four other players scored in double figures: Jojo Jeruta had 15, James Macapobre scored 13, Keneth Dono added 11, while Jojo Racaza had 10. /
