-

THE grand caravan of the party of Talisay City Mayor Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas Jr. has attracted a large crowd.

Around 25,000 people joined the grand caravan of Team Alayon headed by Gullas, who is seeking a second term against former ally Vice Mayor Alan Bucao in the May 9, 2022 national and local elections.

The political activity held last Tuesday, May 3 was attended by Gullas’ running mate and candidate for vice mayor, Richard “Choy” Aznar.

The mobile caravan was held throughout the city and it ended on a vacant lot in Barangay Cansojong, where Alayon’s grand rally was held.

Team Alayon candidates did not roll out their plans and programs for the city anymore, as they had already revealed it during their meetings (pulong-pulong) with the residents in the barangays.

Samsam’s wife Rhea Gullas, who is running for the first district representative of Cebu, and reelectionist Provincial Board (PB) Member Yolanda Daan, wife of the late Cebuano comedian and PB member Julian “Teban” Daan, also attended the grand rally.

Team Alayon’s candidates for the City Council were also present. They were Rocky Bas, Rodi Cabigas, Danny Caballero, Eduardo “Digul” Gullas III, Ferdinand Rabaya, Gail Restauro, Lester Daan, Lito Bacaltos, Manuel Cabriana and Ofelia Ylanan.

Invited singers, actors and models entertained the audience with their performances.
